Remember them? You got it, they’re awaiting a baby!
What can I say? I honestly can’t find two people more in love. Truly! For their maternity session, we headed back to the place where they tied the knot and shot a few frames, ok, a lot of frames, of them lovin’ on each other, sharing a few laughs and quietly embracing. I’m telling ya, like I wasn’t even around. And that’s what I love about them. They’ve got that thing everyone wants. True love.

Driving out to this couple’s country property was probably one of my favourite mini-road trips in recent memory. Gorgeous sun shiny day, sunroof open, satellite radio of 80s/90s goodness cranked loud to Spinal Tap proportions…
I was excited to get there, though. No drive could replace some face time with this hilarious pair! Having not photographed these incredible two since just before their wedding, it was such a treat to help celebrate this awesome new chapter in their familyhood. Could they be any more in love? Could her laugh be any more adorable? And could their deep purple door be any more welcoming? It was a happy way to spend the final sunlight hours of the day.
We’ll chat more once this little babe makes their fine entrance, but for now, here are Nada + Matt awaiting baby…

There’s some industry ‘tip’ I read which said never to blog on a Friday night.
But 2012 is about breaking rules so… ta-da!
The truth of the matter is I just can’t keep these to myself for a day longer.

Hello! We have to tell, little Maddyn was on the eve of his very first birthday last summer when we first had the joy of his company. Now he’s on the eve of becoming a big brother — it’s exciting times for this growing family of soon-to-be-four! While we all hold tight for the new little baby’s happy arrival, a trip this week to a local hiking ground last week during some unseasonably warm weather was just the ticket to cause pause to the final days of ‘J-family, party of three’

Here is one of our last ‘awaiting baby’ sessions from twenty-eleven, a soon-to-arrive bundle anticipated by this beautiful family of three, soon four. With the snow falling gently outside + the holiday season busying the city, time stood still a little as the family joined together in love + play with adorable big sister Ana not to mention celebrating all things baby bump as this gorgeous mama basked in some warm wintry light. The timing of our cozy session at this family’s stunning Toronto home was just in time as sweet baby sister Maya decided a January birthday wasn’t for her + made her way into the world just five days later! While her lovely welcome into the world a la a ‘day in the life’ newborn session is coming to the blog tomorrow, here is Ana + fam as they await Maya’s big day

Sometimes a maternity session is about more than just the bump. While baby Julian was a highly anticipated and excitedly welcomed little boy for this beautiful family, the last few weeks of his belly time was spent celebrating his big brother, Marcus, and closing the chapter on being a family of just three Check back tomorrow for Julian’s newborn debut but, in the meantime, have a little peek at a day in the life of the -S family prior to official expansion!

She’s *that* girl. You know the type, sure you do. That girl that’s fun and game for anything (including twirling in a field while a bunch of dog walkers set about their hike). That’s equal parts adorable and drop-dead stunning all at once. That perfectly suits her name just as much as she suits pregnancy. That you just want to be around.
Soon there’ll be another person around who will count this gorgeous mama as her one and only to be around always. A little girl is on the way for this sweet couple and, we have to dish… They’re pretty excited about it! It’s a safe bet to count us in that club as well; we’ll be seeing more of this growing family after baby girl makes her arrival! Until then, enjoy this beautiful bump
